Beta Non-Disclosure Agreement

Version 2026-10-27 · JurisLit Beta Program

This agreement is between Island Legal Technologies, Inc. ("ILT") and you, together with the firm or organization you sign up for ("you"). It applies to your part in the JurisLit Beta Program, which covers JurisDiscovery, JurisReview, JurisCloud, JurisTrial and JurisValidator, together the "Beta". You accept it by ticking the box when you create your beta account.

1. What is confidential

"Confidential Information" means anything about the Beta that ILT has not made public. That includes its features, screens, design, performance, defects, pricing, plans and roadmap. It also includes anything ILT shares with you about the Beta, in the product, by email or on a call.

It does not include information that:

2. What you agree to

If a court or authority requires you to disclose Confidential Information, you may do so, but tell ILT first where the law allows, so ILT can seek protection.

3. Your data stays yours

This agreement is about ILT's information, not yours. Documents and matters you put into JurisLit remain yours and confidential. They are handled under the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

4. Feedback

Bug reports, ideas and suggestions you give ILT about the Beta may be used by ILT to improve its products, without obligation to you. Nothing in your feedback has to identify you, your firm or your clients. Please leave client details out of bug reports.

5. The Beta itself

The Beta is pre-release software, provided as is. It may change, have defects or be withdrawn, and ILT does not promise that any feature will ship. This agreement gives you no license or rights in the Beta beyond using it during the Beta Program.

6. How long it lasts

Your duties under sections 1 and 2 last for two years after the Beta Program ends for you. When it ends, or if ILT asks, stop using ILT's Confidential Information and delete any copies you hold. Your own data in JurisLit is not affected.

7. General

If you break this agreement, ILT may suffer harm that money cannot fully repair, so ILT may seek an injunction as well as any other remedy. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. It is the whole agreement about confidentiality in the Beta, and it works alongside the Terms of Service.
